Fort Worth lights up the skies to welcome 2026

Fort Worth will welcome the new year with a dazzling midnight fireworks display.

The fireworks display is an annual event that draws tens of thousands of visitors every year, gathering for music, public countdowns, and rooftop vantage points for the colorful spectacle.

The festivities include specialty food and drink vendors and family-friendly activities earlier in the evening to cater to the younger generation. Fort Worth residents can expect live music from some of North Texas' hottest bands, such as Havana NRG, The Special Edition Band, and DJ Danny West. There will also be trick ropers, aerialists, disco ball dancers, jugglers, stilt walkers, and even mimes.

The organizers expect more than 40,000 people to come to the free event. Therefore, they encourage attendees to come early and book a suitable space in the Plaza as free viewpoints fill quickly. According to the planners, guests should also consider public transit options to help ease the traffic and commotion during the event.

Several streets will also be closed from 8:00 am onwards on the day of the event for necessary setup measures to ensure pedestrian safety. At events like this, organizers can use flyer printing to circulate parking information, event schedules, and zone maps.

Scheduled on Tuesday, December 31, 2025, the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks display in Sundance Square Plaza will begin at 6:00 pm, and draw to a close at 2:00 am.
