The Fort Worth Community Arts Center will hold a festival in September that features shows from several talented performers.
The Fort Worth International Fringe Festival is a yearly event where people can watch numerous live shows across three days. The fest is produced by both Arts Fort Worth and the Theatre Network of Texas. This year’s event will feature performances from groups like The Theory Theatre, the New Mexico Junior College Theatre Department, and the Audacity TheatreLab. There will also be one-person shows from Leslie Polk, Jill Alison Bradley, and Abel Flores Jr.
The Theatre Network of Texas is an organization that was created in 1971 to support the state’s theater community. The group started operating out of Fort Worth in 1985. Many programs were created by the network, including the Summer Theatre Paid Internship Project, the Script Lending Library, and the TNT Youth Conference. College students can pay $20 to become members of the organization, and those in high school or younger can pay $10.
The performance festival will be held from September 6th to September 8th. The shows will take place at the Sanders Theatre and Garber Hall. Those who want passes to the entire fest can pay $62. People can also purchase tickets to individual performances. Networks that host similar festivals to this may use printing services to create ads for their shows.
