Fort Worth concert to benefit local hospital

Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth will hold a concert in March to help support the Cook Children's organization.

The Texas Independence Jam is an annual concert where people can listen to popular country stars while supporting a local cause. Eight performers are in this year's lineup, including Dustin Lynch, Ian Munsick, and Lauren Alaina. Country fans may win free tickets to the charity performance by texting the radio station New Country 96.3. Those who want extra perks during their experience can pay for VIP seats.

The Cook Children's Health Care System is a nonprofit medical group that is dedicated to improving the health of kids throughout Texas counties like Wise, Collin, and Denton. The Texas Independence Day Jam will take place on Wednesday, March 20th. Doors to the venue will open at 3:00pm, and the show will start at 6:30pm.
