Fort Worth class crafts popular Texan dish
Chicken fried steak is a culinary favorite in Texas, and a Fort Worth class will teach how to craft it.
This traditional comfort food will be the star of a workshop hosted by Central Market Cooking School’s Fort Worth location. It will take place in the evening and it may be a fun idea for a date night or friends’ get-together.
The function will provide a chance to gain experience using a cast iron skillet, and along with the steaks, the attendees will be preparing mashed potatoes, green beans, creamed corn with bourbon and a skillet cobbler featuring seasonal fruit. It is for ages 13 and up, and anyone under 17 will need to have an adult participate with them. Learners aged 21 and over may enjoy a glass of wine with their dinner. Tickets to take part are $90 each.
A cookery class can be a fun way to pick up some practical kitchen skills. Copies of recipes, tip cards, waivers, and other materials for an activity can be ordered from a local printing services provider.
Central Market Fort Worth will be teaching how to recreate chicken fried steak in the home kitchen on Sunday, May 4. It will begin at 5:00 pm, and anyone who would like to secure their spot can do so by visiting its web listing.
