P.F. Chang’s To Go is the chain’s innovative takeout-only concept, which will come to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex three times over this summer.
Chang’s launched its smaller to-go only model in February 2020 in Chicago. Their new format was predicated on the company’s perceived change in the public’s dining habits. P. F. Chang’s timing was perfect; the trend toward off-premise dining grew at an accelerated rate in response to the pandemic.
Presently, six locations are in operation - three in New York, which was where in October 2020 the new concept launched, and the inaugural three in Chicago. The new locations in DFW will be in Irving, McKinney, and Flower Mound.
Newly launched food establishments frequently utilize a banner printing service to promote their opening, often a week or more in advance.
P.F. Chang’s To Go locations will be smaller in size, at only 2,000 square feet, and will have a stripped down menu. The most well-known items off it will be available though, including Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Dynamite Shrimp, and Mongolian Beef, as well as dumplings, sushi and rice bowls.
Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang founded their company in 1993, as a casual dining restaurant focusing on wok cooking. Presently there are 300 P.F. Chang’s outlets around the world. In DFW, there are four of their traditional restaurants.
As well as this DFW trio, a dozen more To Go locations are planned.
