March of the Triceratops will make its first North America stop of its international tour right here in Dallas at the Perot Museum during July 2027.
Triceratops fossils are rare, and March of the Triceratops include five complete skeletons from the one known herd of fossil remains to ever be found. The 1,200 fossil and bone fragments that are part of the exhibit are from a single layer of rock dating back to the Lance Formation during the late Cretaceous period near Newcastle, Wyoming.
The exhibit is interactive and allows visitors to view a model of a female, true-to-size, Triceratops and her animatronic calf that would have lived between 66 and 68 million years ago.
As explained by the Perot Museum’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Linda Silver, in a statement:
“The March of the Triceratops offers our community the rare opportunity to experience a truly landmark exhibition of some of the most complete Triceratops skeletons ever found.”
Museums have multiple uses for banner printing services, including building anticipation of upcoming exhibits as well as providing directions to current ones.
Collected 2015-2019 through the combined efforts of paleontologists, researchers, preparators, students, and Naturalis Biodiversity Center volunteers after the five Triceratops fossils were first found in 2013.
The March of the Triceratops comes to Perot Museum after being exhibited at the Netherlands Naturalis Biodiversity Center, the Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum and the Auckland Museum in New Zealand.
