A new Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams shop is slated to open on Greenville Avenue in the spot previously filled by Steel City Pops.
Jeni’s is a nationally recognized ice cream chain based in Columbus, Ohio. It offers 19 flavors with imaginative names at its scoop shops. Among the popular flavors are Wildberry Lavender, Coffee with Cream & Sugar, Milkiest Chocolate, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle.
Vegan flavors are also available, among which are Frose Sorbet, Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns, and Banana Cream Pudding.
Flyer printing services are useful for keeping the public aware of new neighborhood eateries and menu changes.
The company’s product first entered the Dallas market as a retail item sold at Central Market stores and a Whole Foods Market. The first Jeni’s location opened here in February 2021 in Deep Ellum, followed by a second shop in the Prestonwood Place shopping center in Addison in October 2021.
A spokesperson has confirmed that a Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will be opening in the neighborhood of Lower Greenville. So far, no opening day has been announced but hopes are for a grand opening in Summer 2022.
Jeni’s ice cream shops are scattered throughout the country with locations in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Washington DC.
Scoops run $5.95 but half scoops are available, so it is possible to indulge in more than one flavor. For $20, patrons can get 10 half scoops.
