Owners chose site in Lake Highlands for third Irish pub

Peter and Cheryl Kenny, owners of The Dubliner and Capitol Pub, are opening a third Dallas pub called Lochland’s in Lake Highlands, at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Lake Highlands Drive.

A native of Dublin, Peter opened the Dubliner 25 years ago, which serves as a hangout for Dallas’ Vespa scooter riding community in addition to being the nexus for the city’s yearly St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In 2007, along with Cheryl, he opened the Capital Pub in another Dallas neighborhood.

Similarities exist between the Kenny’s two current pubs, yet they each have their own unique character. The Dubliner is a classic Irish pub where the emphasis is on beer, whereas the Capitol Pub’s atmosphere is more of a neighborhood hangout more centered on food.

A Logo Design is usually created prior to the opening of a new food or drink establishment, and Stationery printers will commonly employ that design for the new business.

Cheryl has pointed out that Lochland’s will share some of each of the Kenny’s businesses’ most popular features. For instance the Lake Highlands pub will feature a brunch similar to Capitol Pub’s. In addition to the two Kenny pubs, the couple owned the Gin Mill, which closed in 2015, but its restaurant-pub combo style will influence Lochland’s as well.

The Kennys expect to open Lochland’s in January 2020.
