NY steakhouse chain slated to open in Uptown

The New York-based One Group Hospitality has announced that it has concrete plans to open one of its STK steakhouses in Uptown Dallas.

According to a One Group spokesperson, the Dallas location will be 2000 McKinney Avenue, the spot formerly held by Perry’s Steakhouse, which in 2020 moved to 2100 Olive Street.

Using the tagline, “Not Your Daddy’s Steakhouse,” STK marries a chic lounge atmosphere with a modern steakhouse; a combination that the Chicago Tribune has referred to as:

“…part steakhouse, part DJ-fueled party.”

The public is encouraged to come for a meal and remain to enjoy the bar scene and live DJ.

STK has tried unsuccessfully to open a location here, having until now no luck in finding the ideal location. Three STKs can be found in New York, as well as having locations in Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Denver, and Washington State; plus, there are eight international locations.

Menus are sometimes considered part of a restaurant’s décor and printing services can be invaluable in their design.

In addition to an extensive selection of steaks, the menu also contains a variety of other entrees, a raw bar, and an assortment of starters, salads and prototypical steakhouse sides. The usual steak cuts and more are available, including a selection of wagyu cuts and dry-aged options.

One Group confirms that its Dallas location will open sometime in early- to mid-2022.
