New Uptown bakery concept to show hometown love

La Madeleine French Bakery & Café has announced it will be opening a new location featuring a never-before-seen format in Uptown Dallas this summer.

The new mixed-use development located at 2100 Olive Street at Park District High Street Residential’s Residences will have, on the ground floor, a new petite format of the popular bakery designed to meet the building and neighborhood’s needs.

The Groupe Le Duff, which is based in Rennes, France, founded la Madeleine in 1983 and operates 22 Dallas-Fort Worth locations. The new location will be the first la Madeleine opened in the DFW area since 2015.

In addition, to the specific bakery needs of its location, the new Uptown bakery will serve la Madeleine classics such as the signature soups and salads. The company’s catering services, which are much in demand among the downtown-Uptown clientele, will be vigorously promoted at the new location. Longer hours of operations will be in effect at the new location; breakfast and lunch as well as after-five service will be in effect seven days a week.

Flyer printing services are frequently called upon to provide new establishments with an easy-to-use and targetable promotional option.

The planned for site will be only 2,500 square feet compared to the 4,000 to 5,000 square feet size normal for a la Madeleine cafe. Convenience and flexibility will be highlighted in addition to a significantly expanded coffee and espresso program, with a higher emphasis on croissants.
