Slated to open at 4818 Greenville Ave., the former location of Project Pollo, Savvy Sliders is a fast-casual concept originating in Flint, Michigan. According to Savvy Holdings Texas’ CEO Milton Treviño, the company has 35 locations, primarily in the Detroit area. Explaining the company’s ambitious Lone Star State expansion plans, Treviño further explained:
“…. we’re looking at multiple sites slated for launch throughout the summer of 2023, including San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston.”
Companies frequently work with printing services on signage to promote new businesses prior to their opening.
In addition to their signature dish of a variety of sliders, including a vegetarian falafel slider, Savvy also offers grilled chicken, battered fried cod, ribeye steak and fried chicken, as well as chicken wings and chicken tenders. A breakfast menu is also available at some locations.
Savvy Slider was founded by Happy Asker in 2018. Asker, a seasoned restaurateur, is also the founder of another Michigan chain, Happy’s Pizza.
Surprisingly, Savvy Slider will not be the first slider concept restaurant to set up camp in Dallas. Already established here are Deep Ellum-based indie food truck restaurant Easy Slider, and slider concept Son of a Butcher from FB Society.
The exact opening date for the Savvy Slider in Dallas is currently unknown.
