New restaurant brings Hamptons feel to Dallas

Parker Hospitality, a Chicago-based restaurant group, is bringing The Hampton Social, an eatery described as the ultimate East Coast getaway concept, to Dallas.

Designed to invoke the feel of a getaway to the Hamptons, the new restaurant offers a breezy hangout aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at women.

Parker Hospitality’s founder, Brad Parker, first introduced the concept restaurant in Chicago in 2015. It has since spread to 11 locations in Chicago, Nashville and Florida. The Hampton Social in Dallas will make the 12th location and will occupy the space formerly filled by Iron Cactus at 1520 Main Street.

Brad Parker opened his first Hampton Social in 2015 in Chicago with a goal of creating an atmosphere of being transported to an iconic place. His choice of place was the Hamptons, with the Long Island location being a longtime summer escape destination for many.

The concept is geared toward women, with a menu leaning heavily toward seafood and featuring plus-size drinks, shareable dishes, and a “rosé all day” theme that offers over a dozen rosé wine options.

The Hampton Social in Dallas will be three levels, with a total area of 18,000 square feet, including a members-only underground spanning 3,000 square feet.

According to Parker, construction is underway for The Hampton Social in Dallas, with an anticipated opening in the fall.
