Las Colinas to be home to fourth Hudson House location

About 15 minutes from downtown Dallas, a new Hudson House location is slated to open this fall in Las Colinas Village.

The East Coast-inspired Hudson House restaurant chain is fashioned after the quintessential New York West Village neighborhood restaurant. The menu features cheeseburgers, oysters, a raw bar, and martinis, and has a swanky yet casual New England-like vibe.

The original Hudson House opened in 2017 on Lovers Lane in Dallas and was followed in 2018 by a second location in Addison, and in July 2020 the Lakewood location opened. The upcoming Las Colinas location will be at North MacArthur Boulevard and John Carpenter Freeway in the spot formerly occupied by Taco Diner.

A press release reveals the eatery will have 5,200-square-feet of space, featuring a wraparound bar plus a large outdoor patio.

Highlighted popular dishes include America Tuna Tower, The Bouquet-a specialty seafood tower, Chicken Parm and a Cheeseburger Hudson House-style with thin patties, pickles, American cheese, and Hudson sauce. A menu’s graphic design is always a contributing factor to a restaurant’s overall décor.

Brunch has its own separate menu, which includes egg benedict with a choice of ham or lobster, French toast, berry pancakes, and frozen peach Bellini cocktails.

The Hudson House chain is in the Vandelay Restaurant Group, along with Lucky’s Hot Chicken, Drake’s, East Hampton Sandwich Co., and the newest concept of the Group, Brentwood, which is expected to open this fall.
