Downtown Dallas will be getting a huge new beer garden

The well-heeled AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas will soon have a new place to enjoy a brew and have a bite to eat.

The Jaxon Texas Kitchen and Beer Garden is the brainchild of the Dallas-based Hospitality Alliance. The new business will reportedly have 34 beers on tap. In addition to its many draft beers, various Southern-styled cocktails, and wine is on tap too.

Chef David Gilbert, who in 2013 was a James Beard nominee for Best Chef-Southwest, will be creating lunch and dinner Menus that take classic Texas dishes and infuse them with cuisines such as Louisiana and Mexican. The graphic design of a new eating establishment’s Menus is an important detail that should not be taken lightly. If done well, Menus can bolster the ambiance and contribute to branding the business.

Jaxon’s will have space for over 500 patrons at a time between its 4,400-square-foot interior and a patio that provides an additional 10,000 square feet.

The Studio 11 design for the beer garden will sport antlers as beer taps, cactus terrariums, and deep banquette seating. Patrons sitting outside will be able to watch the District’s 6K media wall where sports and movies are to be aired throughout the year.

The Jaxon Texas Kitchen and Beer Garden is aiming to open sometime this spring.
