Dallas welcomes Oddities & Curiosities Expo

A one-of-a-kind occurrence, billed as the world’s largest traveling oddities event, The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is coming to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center later this spring.

Hundreds of vendors, artists, dealers and small businesses all of which deal in the wonderful, weird and downright bizarre difficult to source items will be on hand to sell items that are difficult or impossible to find anywhere else. Among the rare and unique items available will be handcrafted oddities, horror and Halloween-inspired items, unusual antiques, quack medical devices, funeral collectibles, original artwork, preserved specimens, taxidermy, skulls and bones, odd jewelry and creepy clothing among other things. All things sold at the show can be legally owned and have been sustainably sourced.

In addition to the carefully curated array of items for sale, throughout the day sideshow performers will offer entertainment, there will be photo opportunities, tarot readings, taxidermy classes and a variety of concessions.

Participating entrepreneurs distribute Business Cards at this type of event to maximize their exposure.

The cost of classes varies from $150-$350 with attendees being allowed to take their taxidermy/entomology project home with them. Enrollment in a class provides free entrance into the Expo.
