A holiday celebrity-driven bar that celebrates Mariah Carey, the self-styled Queen of Christmas, will “pop-up” in five cities across the country and one of those cities will be Dallas.
The Carey Black Irish Holiday Bar in the Virgin Dallas Hotel, will open November 15 and remain so through December 29. In addition to Dallas, the Black Irish Holiday pop-ups will be located at Virgin Hotels in the following other cities: Chicago, Nashville, New Orleans, and New York. The Irish cream liqueur, “Black Irish by Mariah Carey” is available in three flavors: Original, White Chocolate, and Salted Caramel with each flavor having its own festive Black Irish cocktail.

At participating Virgin Hotels, the Holiday Bar will completely transform selected spaces into a holiday-themed winter wonderland. Featured at each pop-up will be a Black Irish Christmas tree, interactive photo booth, lyric wall, ‘letters to Mariah’ station, and a recreation of Carey’s Magical Christmas Special album cover.
Carey will be in Dallas as part of her “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time” tour. The tour is to celebrate the anniversary of the 1994 album containing her “All I want For Christmas Is You” single. The singer will be performing at the American Airlines Center on November 21.
Ninety-minute time slots will be offered in each city between 4 pm and 9:15 pm for the Black Irish Bar. Ticket prices begin at $20 and include a free welcoming Black Irish cocktail.
