The Big Texas Beer Fest, labeled by Blitz Weekly and the Dallas Observer as Dallas' “best beer festival,” will be back in 2022 at its traditional location of the Fair Park Auto Building.
The festival, which got its start in 2012, has been recognized as one of the largest beer events in the Southwest. Due to the pandemic, the event was cancelled in 2020 and delayed in 2021.
A crowd of 5,000 plus is expected at the event, which has sold out in each of the last nine years it has been held. Attendees will enjoy a choice of 450 beers, hard kombuchas, ciders, and seltzers provided by more than 100 breweries. Print shops offer festivals a range of advertising options for an event like this.
It may be center stage, but there will be lots more to see and do besides drink beer. Local and regional bands will be on hand, non-alcoholic drinks will be available, and 10 local food trucks and vendors have signed on as well.
Plus, vintage arcade supplier Free Play Richardson has partnered with TUPPS Brewery to create a vintage Arcade Alley for attendees to enjoy.
Big Texas Beer Fest will take place on March 26 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Ticket costs will be $42 to $75 with a VIP option allowing entry an hour earlier than general ticket holders.
A portion of ticket sale will be given to the North Texas Food Bank. Since its inception, the Beer Fest has donated nearly $60,000.
