The Louisville-based coworking chain Office Evolution is opening what it describes as a “state-of-the-art coworking space” in a central Dallas location sometime in October.
As of early October, construction was still underway at the Office Evolution site, which is located on the southeast corner of Lemmon Avenue at 3500 Oak Lawn Avenue. Founded in Boulder, Colorado in 2003, and later moving its headquarters to Louisville, the company supplies shared workspace-coworking environments. The concept is based on the Hawaiian principle of “Ohana”, which refers to a family working to achieve a common goal.
The Oak Lawn Office Evolution will the third in the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area; the other two are located in Southlake and McKinney. Each of the three is owned by a different franchisee. Michael Pickering is the franchisee for the Dallas location. A native of Dallas, Pickering operates a family-owned indoor soccer facility here.
Amenities of the seven-story Office Evolution building, which will be primarily shared with doctor and other medical-related offices, include a front desk, covered parking, a 1,000-square-foot fitness center and six-day on-site security. The co-working space will occupy the majority of the fourth floor and will include 41 offices spanning 9,240 square feet. One office will be reserved as an “on-demand office” for professionals who only need a quick place to meet clients. Much like quality office space, quality Business Cards are a must to make a good first impression.
The business has targeted its opening for mid-October.
