Dallas will be getting a new Central Market location to be located at the Northwest Highway and Midway Road intersection.
An opening day has been set for the city’s third Central Market location in the upper-class neighborhood of Preston Hollow in a spot previously occupied by an Albertsons’. Preston Hollow, as described by Forbes magazine, is “home to billionaires, athletes and the 43rd president.” Other area well-known and well-heeled residents include Roger Staubach, Ross Perot, and T. Boone Pickens.
H-E-B/Central Market Division President Stephen Butt issued a press release that would indicate promotional printing services will likely be needed not just for Preston Hollow. According to Butt, other neighborhoods the store will serve include Bluffview, Devonshire, Greenway Parks, and Midway Hollow.
The 42,000 square-foot store has been given a complete wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling remodel with nearby spaces such as the former Suze’s restaurant being incorporated. Included in the remodel were elements to accommodate growing trends, such as retrofitting the property to enable curbside pickup for online ordering.
This third Dallas store is the 10th in the Lone Star State; other Texas Central Market locations can be found in Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, Plano, San Antonio, and Southlake.
The big day for the long awaited opening is set for September 5 at 8:00 am, which falls on the Wednesday following Labor Day.
