Dallas-based 7-Eleven recently announced the roll-out of 7NOW Pins, permitting residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and 26 other metropolitan areas to have virtually anything delivered almost anywhere.
The latest feature of its 7NOW app, 7NOW Pins is a series of virtual hot spots making deliveries possible to non-traditional addresses, such as sports fields, parks, and beaches.
Ordering is as simple as opening the chain’s app; the customer’s current location is recognized and shows the nearest pin. Once ordered, the order is picked up by couriers at the closest store and delivered, generally within 30 minutes, to the target location.
Flyer printing is often the promotional tool of choice for establishments looking to promote changes to their business.
Anything found in a 7-Eleven store can be ordered, including food items, sodas, home goods, cosmetics, and over-the-counter medicines. Beer and wine can only be delivered in some markets, and Dallas-Fort Worth is one of those where it is permitted.
No minimum order is required, although a $1.99 delivery fee is added to all orders of under $15. The first order for a new customer will not be charged a delivery fee and the next two orders made within the following 30 days will also have the delivery fee waived.
In March, 7-Eleven tested a new concept in Dallas that included wine and beer on tap and made-to-order coffee, as well as an outpost of Laredo Taco Co. – a fast-casual chain.
