People who enjoy chocolate as well as whiskey and fine wine should plan to spend some time in Franklin.
Franklin will be the site of the Nashville Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival, which gives attendees a chance to sample sweet and decadent products. The “Chocolateyest event ever” is presented by Taste USA Food and Drink Festivals. The ticket price includes as many samples of chocolate as the purchaser desires, a complimentary wine glass to hold generous pours of ciders, craft beers, fine wines, and whiskeys and spirits, and the first chocolate fondue bar ever held in the Nashville area. People are invited to pick their favorite item, dip it in chocolate, and enjoy.
Also included in the ticket are various creations made with wine, whiskey or beer including spiked hot chocolate, candy cocktails, “boozy” milkshakes, and frozen fruit, rum-based slushies known as “Lushie Slushies.”
Wineries and craft distilleries will be represented, and attendees will be able to purchase bottles to take home. Other food items will be available besides chocolate including cheese, cakes, cookies, and more, including savory choices as a break from the sweets.
The festival is scheduled for February 15, from 11.30 am until 9.00 pm, at the Factory at Franklin. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and older, with no exceptions. Events like this give attendees the perfect opportunity to collect Business Cards from the vendors.
