Popular festival returns to Franklin

Every year, Franklin welcomes more than 120,000 visitors to one of the most popular events in the Southeast.

The Main Street Festival takes place in historic Downtown Franklin, where people gather to enjoy delicious food and drink, outstanding entertainment, vendors with a wide range of arts and crafts items, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the event suitable for the whole family. The festival is consistently ranked in the top 20 events in this part of the United States.

This year will bring more than 150 vendors of arts and crafts, over 30 vendors with food and drinks, entertainment on two stages, a Buskers Corner, and more.

Vendors this year include Marigold Décor, Tennessee Hot Sauce Co., and Dixie Pottery, while food and drink vendors will provide everything from ice cream and kettle corn to Maine lobster.

Fun activities planned include a KidsZone where visitors will find children’s activities. The parking lot at Simmons Bank will be turned into a PetZone with a small, fenced dog park, backdrop for photos, a water station, giveaways, and a chance to adopt a new family member.

Finally, entertainment on two stages brings dozens of artists to Franklin, from dance troupes to jazz and Americana bands, there will be something for everyone.

The Main Street Festival is April 26 and 27, throughout the downtown. Events like this are often advertised with colorful Posters, which organizers will find at Print shops.
