A popular semi-annual event is on the schedule in Franklin.
Franklin in June is held in One Franklin Park, where four featured country artists perform at the amphitheater over the course of an evening. The event is a passion project of Chris Wright, who put on a backyard show to highlight the musical talents of his friends, giving them a platform to showcase their abilities. Since the initial event, friends of Wright’s have pitched in to help, taking the evening from a private party to a public celebration. Posters are a great way to publicize events like this and can be created using poster printing.
This year, the participating artists are Yakyn, Kimber, Keith Walker, and Jeremiah Willis. Yakyn, a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, will perform at 6:00 pm, and Kimber, a pop singer also based in Nashville, takes the stage at 7:00 pm.
Walker won NIMA Male Country Artist of the Year awards in 2016 and 2017. His set starts at 8:00 pm. Willis, who was formerly with The Willis Clan, rounds out the evening at 9.00 pm.
Blood Assurance, the only provider of blood to Williamson Medical Center, will be on hand conducting a drive. Food will be available throughout the evening courtesy of the SmoQe Signals BBQ truck. Dessert will be provided by Bradley’s Creamery Ice Cream Truck.
The upcoming concert is scheduled for June 11, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, with the doors opening at 5:45 pm.
