Main Street Festival to light up Franklin

Heritage Foundation of Williamson County will host the 37th Annual Main Street Festival in Franklin this summer.

The non-profit organization preserves the cultural heritage of the county’s communities. It partners with local leaders to maintain treasured landmarks and historical areas.

The festival is an annual tradition sponsored by First Horizon and will be held in the downtown area of Franklin. Over the years, the event has been named consistently in the region’s best 20 events by the Southeast Tourism Society.

The event typically attracts over 85,000 guests with over 200 artists and craftspeople. Vendors at such events generally work with local printing services to ensure they have an adequate supply of Business Cards, creating potential future contact that can result in sales.

The goals and mission of the event is described by organizers as a way to foster economic stability for local business owners, along with local and out-of-town vendors.

Food vendors and entertainment add to the festivities of this annual event. Applications are open now for this wishing to participate, and sponsorships are also available.

The Main Street Festival will be held on July 17and 18 in the area of Landmark Booksellers located at 114 East Main Street. For more information, contact the event organizers at 615-791-6400. Vendor participation Forms can be accessed via the festival’s event page online.
