This summer, Franklin will resume the popular Main Street Festival taking place in the downtown area.
It is one of the largest events in the Southwestern part of the state. Hosted by the Downtown Franklin Association in partnership with the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, the festival offers family fun, typically attracting thousands of people.
There will be four stages with a variety of music performed. A children’s area and carnival are part of the fun, and for the adults, a beer and wine garden awaits. In addition, approximately 25 food booths will be in attendance with an array of taste-tempting treats. Over 250 exhibitors are expected as well. Applications are currently being accepted for vendors.
Vendors frequently contract with local Print shops to create Business Cards that can be distributed to visitors at large public events. The cards can contain the logo, company and representative names, and contact information for the purpose of generating future interest.
The festival has been rated among the top 20 events by the Southeast Tourism Society. Now in its 37th year, the event brings entertainment and food to the region to be enjoyed by the whole family, and goes towards ensuring economic stability and vitality for the area’s businesses and local vendors.
The Main Street Festival will take place July 17 and 18.
