Tommy Howell’s Cowboy Christmas will take place this month at the Franklin Theatre. Christmas music performed by Howell and guests will fill the air with holiday cheer.
Other guests appearing in the show in the downtown historical area of Franklin include Riders in the Sky. This group has been performing for over 40 years and has existed since the torch was passed by the original Sons of the Pioneers, along with Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. The group has been successful at reviving and maintaining the Western music genre.
The music is compiled by Ben Isaacs, Mike Rogers, and Jenee Fleenor. Isaacs was recently inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, while Fleenor is a singer and songwriter who has opened for Blake Shelton. She is a two-time winner of the CMA Musician of the Year award. Meanwhile, Rogers fronts for bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs in concert tours.
