Fall festival fun for Franklin
An annual festival celebrating Fall is returning to Franklin.
The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 39th Annual PumpkinFest is the largest family-friendly Fall event in Middle Tennessee. The festival stretches down Main Street and weaves its way into Downtown Franklin’s side streets as well. In 2023, over 115,000 people attended, giving an idea of what to expect this year.
Over 140 arts and crafts vendors expected to participate, along with more than 30 beverage and food vendors. Local companies are sponsoring various attractions as well. For instance, Tractor Supply is sponsoring a PetZone presented by Petsense, and Grace Chapel is sponsoring the popular KidsZone, where visitors will find games, children’s activities, arts, and crafts.
HG Hill Realty is presenting Autumn Alley, a block on Main Street where people will find entertainment and festivities in keeping with the season, as well as people and pet costume contests. Mercer Advisors are inviting football fans to pop into the Endzone, located in The Franklin Theater, to watch football on the big screen.
Live music will be presented on two stages, with Lipscomb University handling the Acoustic Stage, while the School of Rock presents entertainment on the Main Stage. Two adult attractions, the Whiskey Lounge courtesy of Liepers Fork Distillery, and a Bavarian Bierhaus Beer Garden are also planned, and local merchants will be open for those looking for seasonal gifts. Events like this are the perfect place to distribute their business cards.
PumpkinFest 2024 is scheduled for October 26.
