Max Weinberg is bringing his “Jukebox” to the Franklin Theatre for an interactive evening brimming with music of all kinds. Weinberg is best known for his long stint as the drummer in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, and for leading the band on “The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien,” and “Late Night with Conan O'Brien.”
Weinberg's Jukebox is almost literally that—he often leaves the stage and walks through crowd, with a scrolling list of more than 300 tunes in hand. Audience members choose those they want to hear, determining the setlist, and then Max and his group deliver the goods, playing everything from Springsteen to the Beatles, from Steppenwolf to the Rolling Stones, showing the artists the respect classic rock deserves.
Mark Steczyk, the director of the Lincoln Amphitheatre in Lincoln City, Indiana, said that Weinberg's show was:
“. . . one of the most interactive, energetic performances we've ever had . . . Max is a pro's pro, as was his entire band . . .”
A fan said:
“It is a fantastic show. If you get the opportunity, go!!”
Poster printing is often used to publicize events like this. Max Weinberg’s Jukebox is now set for January 7, 2021. This is a rescheduling from an earlier date, and anyone holding tickets to the original performance has automatically had theirs transferred to the new appearance.
