Construction begins on development in Franklin

Carbine & Associates, a company based in Franklin, recently announced it has begun work on its Nature's Landing development, which is within three miles of Franklin's downtown. The project comprises 32 single-family homes.

Carbine's vice president, Daryl Walny, said Nature's Landing will offer a green space of 16 acres bordered by the Harpeth River and Donelson Creek. The lots on which homes will be built range from one-third acre to one full acre; home prices will start in the $800K range.

Walny also pointed out that mature trees are often scarce in new neighborhoods, so his company will plant more than 400 new trees throughout the project. He believes this will give the feeling of an oasis while still being close to Franklin and the amenities there.

The development offers community sidewalks, as well as a footbridge that connects the new homes to the recreational spaces at Moore Elementary. The exteriors of the homes will be designed to complement the neighborhood, and will follow the designs suggested by the original architects. Opening celebrations for projects like this can be even more fun if developers use banner printing to create decorations.

Carbine & Associates has cemented its reputation as a professional builder of residential homes throughout Tennessee. The company holds interests in, or owns, both commercial and residential sites throughout the state, and seeks to build custom homes that exceed buyers’ expectations.
