Actor-turned-singer to perform in Franklin

An A-list actor who is also making a name for himself as a singer will appear in Franklin.

Kiefer Sutherland is the son of acclaimed actor Donald Sutherland, one of the biggest stars of the 1960s and 1970s, who appeared in such films as “The Dirty Dozen” and “M*A*S*H,” which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

Following after his father, Kiefer has a long list of television and film credits. He is possibly best known for his role as Jack Bauer in the suspenseful series “24,” which ran from 2001 until 2010, and one season in 2014. For his work on the show, Kiefer won a Golden Globe, an Emmy, two Satellite Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Sutherland said he turned to music because he loves touring, and wanted to perform live. He also said he was not really prepared for the experience, because he had no fictional character to “hide behind.” He has come to love it, however, and has now released three albums.

One reviewer raved:

“Kiefer Sutherland in concert was worth every single penny of the ticket price . . . For those wondering if Kiefer Sutherland, well known actor, is worth showing up for for a /singing/ concert, look no further for an answer: it's a resounding yes.”

Sutherland will be at the Franklin Theatre on March 18. Poster printing can help organizers of this type of event create Posters that will attract audiences.
