Westminster area event to help sharpen research skills

People who trace their roots back to Ireland and who want to enhance their research skills may want to save the date for a workshop that can make it easier for them to find the information they are searching for.

The day will be facilitated by two members of the Ulster Historical Foundation who will be in the Warminster area as part of their North American lecture tour.

The planners of this session noted that it can be of interest to everyone, whether they are interested in history, genealogy, or are just curious. They went on to say that it is suitable for everyone from the beginner to the experienced researcher, and it will last throughout the day.

The registration fee for the day starts at $80, and both members and nonmembers of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania are welcome. This includes the cost of breakfast, an Irish hot buffet, and also the dessert bar, as well as any learning materials required. There will also be a door prize draw. A printer can supply promotional Pens and other items for an event like this, which can be paired with a pad of paper so that it will be easy for the attendees to make any notes they wish.

Brookside Manor in Feasterville-Trevose will be the venue for this seminar, and it will be offered on March 10. The class will begin at 9:00 am.
