A library that calls Warminster home will soon be celebrating 50 years of serving the local public.
Friends of Warminster Library has a special soiree on deck for October. Tickets are $50 each and to help maximize the amount raised, a giving program is in place.
Guests at the function will be dining on an assortment of hot appetizers and other bites while they mix and mingle, and everyone will be celebrating the Library's past while looking forward to its future. The live entertainment will be provided by a jazz trio, and mocktails will be flowing.
While they get to know each other, everyone will have the chance to bid on the silent auction items and purchase tickets for the basket raffles. An option to add an additional donation to the registration fee is available, those who do so will have their name included in the program prepared for the event by Stationery printers. Those who choose the $250 “Lifelong Learner” level also will also have their names inscribed on a permanent plaque on display in the Library. A company able to offer custom graphic design work can provide an assortment of ideas for thanking those who help to make such a fundraiser a success.
The Warminster Library will be benefiting from this golden anniversary party on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 6:00 pm.
