Warminster workshop to explore diabetes self-management

Whether they are living with the condition themselves or know someone who is, diabetes is a disease that impacts many who live in Warminster. A workshop can help them to better understand this illness and take charge of their own health, and it will be on offer this November.

A variety of topics related to diabetes self-care and management will be included in a presentation, which will be facilitated by Karen Velez, who works with the Doylestown Health Diabetes Center. She will be offering actionable tips and other information, as well as answering questions from the attendees.

This educational workshop will offer advice about diabetes management over the long term, including how an individual can recognize if they are developing complications related to the disease. They will also discover how they can form a strong partnership with their doctor and other members of their care team, and how they can manage their overall physical health.

This type of function can offer a lot of information in a small amount of time. A company that offers brochure printing services can prepare informational materials to distribute to each of the attendees so they can learn more.

The Cowhey Family ShopRite in Warminster will be offering this one-hour workshop on November 19. It free to participate, but registration is required and this can be done via Eventbrite.
