Warminster Community Park will be the location for a day that will show area veterans that they have the support of their community.
The Wounded Hero 5K will be a day filled with activities for all ages, and they can choose to walk, run or roll their way along using a wheelchair, rollator or other mobility device. The Salute to Heroes Car and Motorcycle Show will be back for its second year, and the proceeds from the festivities will aid veterans in a variety of ways.
The plans for the celebration include the Wounded Hero 5K, as well as a slower walk and a one-mile run for kids. Food and live entertainment are both on the agenda, with all of the activities kicking off in the morning. Each participant will receive a selection of Promotional Products to thank them for their support.
To help make the occasion a big success, the organizers have put together an assortment of sponsorship packages. There are several levels of these to choose from, as well as race water bottles and finishers medals that offer additional ways to lend a hand.
This year's 2022 Wounded Hero 5K Memorial Walk, Kids Walk and vehicle show will all be held on June 23 at 300 Veterans Way. A virtual event is also available for anyone who would prefer this option.
