Warminster golfers who have been hoping for an excuse to head to the golf course will soon have one, thanks to an upcoming fundraising tournament.
The students of Centennial School District will be the beneficiaries of the annual Bruce Beaton Memorial Golf Outing. The players will take to the links at Spring Mill Country Club, and registration will open in the early morning.
Those who sign up to play will be treated to breakfast before their day of golf begins with a shotgun start. All skill levels are welcome, and they will be playing through all18 holes. A cart is covered in the registration fee, and a variety of prizes will be presented.
Individual tickets start at $175 each. Anyone who arrives on their own will be able to join one of the groups, making the fundraiser a fun way to meet some new friends. Lunch is included in the ticket price.
Many fundraising events depend on the generous support of the local corporate community. Stationery printers can prepare Letterheads and other custom materials that may be used to prepare donation requests to send out to area businesses, as well as thank you notes and certificates of appreciation.
The 2024 Bruce Beaton Memorial Golf Outing is on the way on Monday, June 17. The registration desk will open at 7:30 am.
