Warminster to learn how to craft butterfly banquets

Butterflies and other pollinators add extra life and movement to a garden, and a Warminster workshop has been prepared that will teach how to craft a butterfly banquet.

Creating a pollinator garden can be surprisingly easy, with an end result as pretty as it is functional. The class is scheduled for Warminster Community Park, and the techniques can be used in both container- and bed-style plantings.

The learners will discover how plants provide both nectar and pollen for butterflies, bees, moths and birds, and they will also find out which ones tend to be the most attractive to these animals. They will learn how to pair different species together that have the same cultural requirements. The event listing notes that it can be fun for parents and kids to attend the workshop together.

Gardening is a popular hobby and many people appreciate having a chance to learn new skills. Tip sheets, plant tags, and other materials for an event can all be prepared by a printing services company, along with a wide selection of Promotional Products.

This exploration of how easy it can be to welcome butterflies to a garden will be on offer on Thursday, May 19. It will start at 6:30 pm, and wrap up at 7:30 pm. There is no charge to take part.
