Warminster households that have begun the process of spring cleaning may want to save the date for an event that might turn their trash into treasure.
The annual Warminster Parks and Recreation Community Yard sale is fast approaching, and those who would like to set up shop have been asked to reserve their spot well ahead of time. Each space is 20 feet by 20 feet, and the fee to secure one is $25 each.
One the day of the pop-up, the vendors will be asked to check in an hour and a half before the gates open to the public so they will have time to get their booth set up. Each seller will need to provide their own table and chairs, as well as a canopy if they wish to use one, and advance entry will not be permitted to shoppers. It will be open for five hours.
A community pop-up yard sale can help to keep unwanted items from local landfills. A poster printing company will have an assortment of cost-effective ways of spreading the word about an event.
The Warminster Community Yard Sale will be welcoming bargain hunters starting at 8:00 am on Thursday, April 21. Sellers are welcome to start setting up their tables at Warminster Community Park up to an hour and a half before the event.
