Warminster Community Park is about to get a lot more colorful thanks to a family-friendly activity that has been planned for the site.
A special event is on the agenda for the park, and it will see families create their own unique chalk drawings for others to enjoy. It is free to get involved, but everyone has been asked to sign up in advance so they can be issued a square of their own.
Those who sign up for the activity will receive colored chalk to use, and they are also welcome to bring their own if they wish. They will be able to choose their own theme, and they can stop by the park any time during the activity. The creations will be on display for community members to enjoy, and they may even be seen by an even wider audience, and some may be selected for inclusion on the township’s website.
A creative community event like this offers a fun way for residents to meet their neighbors in a casual setting. They are often included in local activity listings, which can be printed by an area printing services provider.
Chalk it Up for Artists and Families will be showcasing Warminster’s creative side on July 23. The final date to register is July 18, although the available slots may well fill up before then.
