A Warminster area workshop will offer a novel way to add beauty and interest to a landscape early next month.
A free webinar, which will be facilitated by Thom Mrazik, will explore the many options available in the nursery trade when it comes to ornamental grasses. Mrazik will explain their benefits and uses, and the audience will have time to ask him questions and gather some expert advice before the webinar ends.
The session is being presented courtesy of the Whitpain Township Parks and Recreation department in Blue Bell. It will introduce a variety of grass species, and while they may not have showy flowers, they will offer other benefits. Mrazik will discuss the species that perform best in the local area, and he will explain why using cold season cultivars can offer a jump start on the gardening season while continuing to look great well into the fall months.
Promoting an online activity like this can be a snap with support from a local flyer printing company, which will be able to supply an assortment of suitable marketing materials.
The cool season Ornamental Grass webinar will be on offer on Monday, April 5. It is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm, and as it will be offered virtually, it may be enjoyed from anywhere with an internet connection.
