An event has been organized near Warminster that will give the public a chance to dispose of any documents they no longer need in a safe and secure way.
The Community Shred, which is being hosted by the Union Library Company of Hatborough, is being offered free of charge. All paper documents, even if they are printed on colored paper or have staples or paperclips attached, are welcome, although no plastic, credit cards, newspapers, or magazines will be accepted. A company that performs printing services will be able to create a variety of items to promote events such as this.
Each person can bring up to five Bags or Boxes of material, and the shredding will take place on a first come, first served basis. Those who plan on making use of this service are asked to enter the parking lot of Hatboro Federal Savings form the York Road and Rorer Avenue. This will allow them to enter the area that will be set up for the shred.
The event is being offered through the support of Hatboro Federal Savings, and will take place at 243 York Road from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on September 10. Though it is being offered at no cost, all donations will be welcomed, with the proceeds from the day going towards the library.
Anyone who wants to find out more is asked to call 215-672-1420.
