The Red Cross is asking residents of Warminster to add one more item to the list of gifts they will be giving his holiday season.
The organization will be holding a blood drive in the community, and it is hoping that everyone who is eligible to make a donation will be generous and choose to do so.
The Red Cross noted that, at this time of year, people tend to be busy and the number of donors will often fall, and it wished to remind the public that the process does not take long and can potentially save several lives.
Anyone who would like to give the gift of life can register to do so ahead of time, and walk-ins will also be made most welcome. The entire process of giving blood takes just about an hour, and once the donation is complete, each donor will be encouraged to relax for a few minutes while they enjoy a light snack and a drink that will be served to them. Poster printing can be used to craft effective promotional materials that let the local community know when and where an event like this will be taking place.
The Red Cross Holiday Blood Drive will be set up at the Cowhey Family ShopRite Health Connections, which is located at 942 W Street Road in Warminster. More information can be found on the Red Cross website.
