Warminster re-enactment to travel back in time

A Warminster area attraction will be taking a step back in time this summer , and it has invited the public to travel along.

The Moland House will be the venue of a re-enactment of Washington’s encampment at Neshamini Creek, which took place in 1777. A variety of costumed interpreters will be taking part on what will be a volunteer-driven day of fun.

The Annual Revolutionary War Reenactment, which is a production of the Warwick Township Historical Society, will offer a glimpse into the area’s history. There will also be demonstrations of gunsmithing, colonial cooking, and lace making, as well as brewing and woodworking, and a puppet theater will also be on display.

Admission for the re-enactment is $5 for adults, and a discount is available for seniors , youth and families. The organization is a 501(c)(3) registered not-for-profit group. The proceeds from the gate will be used to help fund the activity and also support The Moland House. A flyer printing company will be able to lend a hand with an occasion by offering low-cost and effective marketing options, as well as material to hand out on the day.

The 2022 Revolutionary War Reenactment will be held at The Moland House on Saturday, August 27. Anyone who needs more details can find them by visiting its website.
