Warminster Library kicks off Summer Reading Program

Warminster kids who are looking for some summer fun are welcome to join in an activity that will encourage literacy in the local area.

The Warminster branch of the Bucks County Free Library has planned a Summer Reading initiative open to kids at all grade levels. To encourage young people to pick up a book, the program will see prizes presented to the participants.

Interested individuals and families can drop by the library to find out more, and a Reading Log will be available so the readers can record their progress. Each week, small Promotional Products will be presented as prizes. Grand prizes will be confirmed in early June, and the Reading Logs will also be ready at that time. This year's theme is “Color Our World”, and it will be running from mid-June to early August.

Literacy building in its home community is one of the tasks often taken on by a library. A poster printing company can help build interest about this type of initiative in the local area.

Warminster's younger readers are encouraged to be part of this summer project, which will run from Monday, June 16 until Sunday, August 3, with an official kick-off date of Wednesday, June 25. This activity will be held at the library itself, outdoors if the weather is suitable.
