A chip-timed 5k run and walk in support of MS research has been planned for Warminster.
Run for Research will raise funds to for use in research into the cause of, and to find a cure for, multiple sclerosis. Individuals, families, groups and corporate teams are all welcome to participate. Along with the five kilometer run, the ‘Mummy’ mile walk will also be an option for those who want to participate without dong the full 5k.
After the race has finished, the winning individuals and teams will be presented with awards. Certificates of recognition and other items like these can be produced for this type of event by a Stationery printing company.
Along with the run and walk, a community family fun day has been planned. There will be music, anti-bullying and sports demos, live entertainment, a costume contest with a parade, inflatables, a reptile and farm animal exhibit, adoptable pets, an obstacle course, and arts and crafts, among other attractions.
All of this will be taking place at 350 E Bristol road in Warminster on October 23 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
