Warminster invited to bust moves in 70s fundraiser

While the 1970s may be well in the rear view mirror, a Warminster area fundraiser will be reviving that decade, if only for just one night.

Everyone is encouraged to dig their leisure suit, bell bottoms. or polyester slacks out of the back of their closet, do their hair up ‘70s style and be part of a disco-themed fundraiser that will support the work of Potential Inc. The organization noted that the monies raised will go towards the purchase of a vehicle it can use to transport its clients to various outings and other activities.

Each person who purchases a ticket for the evening will be treated to dinner as well as a chance to dance the night way to some of their favorite retro tunes. Those who can use a bit of help to perfect their dance moves can receive instruction, and a prize will be awarded to the best ‘70s era individual and couples costumes, as well as the one deemed to be the most authentic or original.

As the main goal of this type of event is to raise funds for a cause, it is important that it sticks to its budget. A printing services company can offer lots of ways of making sure that happens, and will be able to supply a full line of economically priced custom printed materials.

This year’s signature fundraiser for Potential, Inc. will be bringing the ‘70s back on October 16. It will be welcoming guests at 101 Friends Lane in Newton.
