Warminster fundraiser looks for generous support

Ivyland Fire Company is a volunteer organization in the Warminster area, and it is asking one and all to drop by so they can “give a hoot and fill the boot.”

This Warminster area fire company counts on the generosity of the local community, and it is hoping that there will be plenty of support for its Coin Drop fundraising activity. It will be taking place at the intersection of Bristol and Jacksonville roads.

Supporters of the activity will be helping to fund the company’s fire and medical assistance services, and they may also be called in to help in the surrounding communities. Everyone has been asked to drop by with their spare change or other monetary donation, and kids can visit the firefighters and drop their coins in the collection bucket.

While the organization is hoping for lots of community support on the day, its listing notes that anyone who cannot make it may still get involved by making a donation directly to the organization. An eye-catching banner can help to draw attention to a fundraiser, and these can be prepared by a banner printing company.

The Ivyland Fire company will be running its fundraiser this Friday, November 29. The rain date will be Saturday, November 30, and its web listing offers a direct donation link. It will be running from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on either date.
