Pigs will be taking pride of place during a Warminster area celebration, and everyone is welcome to come out to meet and learn more about these intelligent four-legged creatures.
Ross Mill Farm Inc in Rushland will be hosting Piggypalooza, and it will be an occasion to toast all things porcine. Open to kids and adults alike, there will be lots going on for the whole family.
Guests at the occasion will be able to browse through and buy pig art, and some of the farm’s residents will also be on site giving demonstrations of their artistic abilities. Vegan food trucks will be on site serving up everything from snacks to full-sized meals and drinks, and music and other live entertainment will also be provided.
The proceeds from this festival will be donated to the Pig Placement Network. This organization works to provide homes for neglected, unwanted and abused pet pigs, and also educates the public about their care. Print shops will be able to supply any printed materials that can play a role in helping to ensure a day like this meets its fundraising goal.
This celebration of the porcine set will be held on June 15 at 2464 Walton Road in Rushland. Ross Mill Farm’s website includes more information about the occasion as well as further details about its work.
