An advocacy group that serves as a technical society for lighting engineers and others in the field has organized an event that will be all about having a great time.
The Philadelphia Section, which is part of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) , will be the host for the annual Mary and Emory Zimmers Memorial Golf Outing, which will tee off at Warminster area’s Spring Mill Country Club. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to register, and while they have fun, they will be supporting the organization's scholarship program and other initiatives.
When the golfers arrive for the activity, they will be greeted at the registration table before the warm up and lunch mixer. They will then take to the course for the shotgun start, and once the play has been completed, the players will head to the venue’s terrace for a cocktail party and presentation of golf awards.
Choosing awards and Promotional Products to present is often one of the roles taken on by an event planner. These will be available at area printers, which will even be able to prepare a special graphic design for the occasion.
The date for the 2022 Illuminating Engineering Society’s Philadelphia Annual Emory & Mary Zimmers Golf Outing is set for September 12. The registration station will open at 10:30 am, and the function will wrap up at 7:00 pm.
