Time for Warminster to get its green on

Warminster gardeners who are interested in getting new plants for their home and yard may wish to mark their Calendars for the upcoming Penn State Master Gardeners of Bucks County annual plant sale.

This will be the 17th year for the event, which will give people an opportunity to purchase unusual items for their garden. A huge assortment of cultivars will be available, and native plants, as well as pollinators, pond species, those that thrive in shade, plants for containers, those that are resistant to deer, and many other varieties can all be purchased. Vegetable and herb transplants will be available for those who want to grow their own food.

In addition to browsing through the items offered for sale, the public will have an opportunity to quiz any of the 50 or more Bucks County Master Gardeners who will be on hand. Both Checks and cash will be accepted, and those who plan on coming out are reminded to bring along a wagon or cart to hold their selections while they browse. The organizers of an event like this can use a printer’s marketing services to promote it throughout the local area.

This huge plant sale has been scheduled for Saturday, May 6 in the Health Building parking lot of the Nashaminy Manor Center. More information can be found by visiting its Patch listing.
