The corporate decision to move to a navy yard in South Philadelphia was confirmed in April by the office of Michael Nutter, who is currently the mayor of Philadelphia.
When the mayoral office made its announcement, some of the employees of the business had already completed the move. Lux Products may opt to use business card printing in Warminster in order to tell consumers and clients about their new address.
The president of Lux Products has endorsed the new location in positive terms. Company president Rob Munin has expressed his satisfaction about the specific qualities of the Navy Yard.
Munin has said:
“For Lux it is the perfect location for us to plant our flag and look forward; the Navy Yard campus mirrors our own commitment to smart energy innovation and sustainability, we’re very excited for what this means for our brands and our customers.”
Lux Products was formed back in 1914. It now has a center for distribution purposes at Laredo in Texas. Lux Products is one of several businesses that have recently opted to move part of their operation to Philadelphia.
The Navy Yard is a former military center. More than 10,000 workers are currently employed at the old base.
